Kristen & PJ | Wedding | West Branch, IA

Kristen and PJ’s October wedding was absolutely stunning. Little Lights on the Lane in West Branch was a perfect haven for the celebration. It was a blustery fall day, but this wonderful couple warded away the chill with warm blankets for their guests, a welcoming reception and of course all the warmth of their love! These two were amazing to work with, sneaking out of their reception with us not once but twice for some special end-of-the-night portraits. Keep scrolling to see all the beautiful little details!

We love this venue. Little Lights on the Lane is bright and spacious but maintains a warm, cozy feel.

This ring box! And Kristen’s amazing sparkly silver flats! And a very special detail, those beautiful pearl earrings that the bride wore belong to her grandmother.

Kristen’s ornate crystal and pearl headband was another little detail that had us swooning.

Kristen and PJ chose to wait until their ceremony to see each other. PJ and the guys stayed tucked away in a downstairs suite while the ladies got ready upstairs in the bridal suite.

Those cozy fleece blankets were perfect for the intimate ceremony that took place on the terrace.

A little denim, a little sparkle and a whole lot of tulle! Could those flower girls be any cuter?!

Gosh, these two are adorable.

Did we mention that it was chilly and VERY windy? The wedding party were such troopers and stepped outside with us for a few portraits.

These cozy, romantic moments between the bride and groom took our breath away.

Ooh boy, this dessert table had us excited! The spread included soft white chocolate pumpkin cookies, delectable cupcakes and the cutest little cream cheese mints. Their wedding cake was topped with elegant pink, white and lavender blooms.

First dance magic. Just look at PJ’s face…pure happiness.

The father-daughter and mother-son dances were full of special moments.

Kristen and PJ’s friends and family were such a fun group! The unbelievably tasty food was provided by the groom himself.

Kristen and PJ were more than happy to step outside at dusk as the sun was setting. The golden light was perfectly soft and romantic.

As the sun sank lower, we saw the moon rising at the other end of the sky. The bride and groom kissed and danced in the moonlight.

We couldn’t resist stealing these two away for one more dreamy portrait at the end of the night. Kristen and PJ, congratulations! Your wedding was so lovely and we were so happy we got to be a part of it. Thank you so much for choosing CTW Photography and we hope you enjoy these highlights!
