The {B} Family | Family Portraits | Kent Park, IA

We caught some beautiful colors with the {B} family at the end of October for this family portraits session. This was a very specifically timed session, based on Hunter being home from college for the weekend. What a great opportunity to update family portraits!

These three were a lot of fun…so many chuckles! Also, Jamie’s deep purple sweater looked just amazing with the various greens, yellows and oranges we saw in the park that day.

We couldn’t help but get some updated portraits of just Jamie and David, too.

Group hug! Photographing families with adult children is quite a bit different than our families with young children. Both types of photo sessions are tons of fun, but the adult children variety is definitely a bit more laid back. For example, we don’t have to make silly animal noises or sing the “The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round” to get genuine smiles.

These wood and prairie colors were such a lovely backdrop.

It’s so wonderful to work with families who are so close with each other (which was very evident by the inside jokes that abounded!). Hunter is a freshman from college living away from home. They were all so clearly happy to be together and we think it shows in these pictures.
