Hey there! I'm Carissa, owner of CTW Photography - a wonderful team of creative professionals dedicated to the art of visual storytelling. I am a photographer, videographer, social worker, musician, mother to an amazing little girl and pet parent. It’s a balancing act but let’s be honest: I wouldn’t have it any other way! I’m one of those analytical-but-creative types with an entrepreneurial spirit and a serious (perhaps necessary) love of organization. I love animals, food, cooking, baking, whiskey, gaming, travel and fitness.
No matter which hat (or hats) I happen to be wearing - I strive to connect with people in the realest ways possible. I truly believe in the importance of relationships and I value every opportunity I get to both observe and interact with others. Although obvious in my role as a social worker, that need to connect is just as important to me in my work as a photographer and creative professional. So whether it’s portraits or weddings or working to represent your business, I want to tell your unique story, capture real moments as they're being experienced by real people and bottle the warmth, rawness and authenticity of it all.

Amy Locke is a photographer, a transcriptionist, a writer, a musician and a mother of two. Her current chapter of life would be aptly titled "Embrace the Chaos." Fueled by coffee, cheese and creativity, she's happiest when telling stories (in a variety of ways). From documenting the pureness and realness of emotional moments to capturing beauty in the tiniest details, photographing everything from portraits to weddings feeds her artistic spirit.
Tanya Clowers started Tanya Schulte Photography in 2011 and co-founded CTW Photography with Carissa in 2013. In 2018, she stepped down as co-owner. Although she remains fully committed to her 2020 and 2021 couples, she will be stepping away from photography entirely to focus more on her family and cookie business.
Rebekah Stewart is heading into her fifth season as an associate and second shooter with CTW Photography. When she's not shooting, you can find her substitute teaching and cheering on the Hawkeyes. She lives in Cedar Rapids with her husband and three kids. Her favorite moments to capture for clients are the genuine interactions in between posed shots. She's an observer, obsessed with authentically documenting those fleeting
moments.
