Haley and Brian’s mini wedding in Iowa City was the perfect way to spend a gorgeous October afternoon. We were so happy we got to be there to document their intimate outdoor ceremony. They had engagement portraits taken last fall in the very spot where they were married, making that moment all the more special.Haley had a first look moment with her father right before he walked her down the aisle. So sweet.The bride and groom’s dog Bella was an important guest in attendance. She was decked out in a beautiful floral collar that matched Haley’s bouquet. Good girl!Look at Brian’s smile as Haley walks towards him. Oh, our hearts! This is one of our favorite moments to capture. Both of their mothers recited readings during the ceremony. These flowers were absolutely gorgeous.It was so special to take their wedding day portraits in some of the same spots where their engagement portraits were taken! As University of Iowa alumni, this Old Capitol is a meaningful place to both of them.Hi, Bella! The perfect flower girl (or flower dog!).Now, the fun part: we got to take a walk around the Pentacrest with these two.Those fall colors, the newlyweds adoring each other…perfection.Haley had these fantastic sparkly, deep pink shoes hiding under her dress…we couldn’t resist getting a shot of them.Things we love: the very elegant back of Haley’s gown (!) and those amazing personalized masks. When you’re getting married in 2020, how can you NOT have adorable custom masks?Haley and Brian, congratulations! We were so thrilled to be part of your mini wedding ceremony.
