Erica & Turner | Wedding | Iowa City, IA

Barely avoiding an October snowfall, Erica and Turner’s wedding was SO beautiful. Some of our very favorite things about the day: the bride’s AMAZING dress, the couple’s getaway sports car, and the bride and her sister dancing to Michael Jackson’s Thriller during the reception!
The ladies started their day at Exhale Salon in Riverside.
Erica’s shoes were some of the prettiest we’ve ever seen. The ornate beading and ribbon ties were so elegant.
Erica and Turner chose not to see each other until the ceremony. While they waited in anticipation, they read love letters they had written to each other.
The intimate ceremony at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church was so lovely.
Close friends and family sang and read passages during Erica and Turner’s wedding ceremony.
MARRIED! In lieu of bubbles, Erica and Turner’s guests clapped as they left in their “getaway car.” We very fondly remember this bright red sports car from their engagement session last winter!
After the ceremony, we took Erica, Turner and their wedding party to Hickory Hill Park for some fun portraits.
Seriously, that dress! These two look straight out of a storybook romance.
We couldn’t resist a shot of Erica’s long veil blowing in the breeze!
The reception hall at the American Legion in Lone Tree was elaborately decked out in green and gold.
Ooh, this cake. Intricately piped buttercream and roses? YES.
First dance magic.
This reception was full of fun moments, like this impromptu dance featuring the groom and his best man!
A HUGE highlight of the evening, Erica and her sister/matron of honor, Brooke, danced to Michael Jackson’s Thriller. It was absolutely fantastic.
Erica and Turner, congratulations! It was such a pleasure to capture all the lovely moments of your wedding day. Thanks so much for choosing CTW and we hope you enjoyed these highlights!
