The {S} Family | Family Portraits | Fossil Gorge, Coralville, IA

Another amazing family portraits session with the {S} family! We got to take a few very quick pictures of this bunch during our Porch Project last April. It was so good to get together with them at Fossil Gorge for a more traditional session.

Hi, Violet and June! We love these girls. Their sundresses and hair bows are just perfect and we can’t get enough of their cute grins!

We took June’s newborn pictures in late 2017…she has grown SO much since then!

Just a little sisterly twirling, of course. Take note of the matching gold shoes!

The sweetest moment: the girls gifted their parents some tiny just-picked flowers. Violet holding a little bloom behind her back, and then her beaming face after handing it to her mother, is so pure and heartwarming.

We’re crazy about this color scheme! A job well done, {S} family.

After they finished picking rocks, Violet and June upgraded to collecting rocks. Fossil Gorge is certainly a good place for it!

One of our very favorite family portraits of this crew. The girls’ giggly smiles and the way Dani and Evan are looking down at them…oh, our hearts!

We had to grab a portrait of Evan and Dani alone, obviously! It’s hard to believe that it has been seven years since we photographed their wedding.

We topped off the session with some rock stacking fun.

Sleepy June! We can’t blame her after a hot, adventurous afternoon.

One of the perks of our premium two-photographer sessions is you might catch some pictures of one of us on the B reel. This was an “oh, look, a tiny frog!” moment. We always have so much fun with this family!
