Another 2020 fall favorite — this lovely engagement session took place in downtown Iowa City. Lydia and Logan frequently pass these old University of Iowa buildings as they walk to and from work and have always admired them. We love them, too! The old Art Building was built in1936. Fun fact: prominent artist Grant Wood (famous for his painting the American Gothic) once created art and taught in this building. We couldn’t resist taking some portraits underneath this lovely brick archway.That lean & kiss…swoon!A short walk to another part of the old Art Building led us too more gorgeous architecture. Those windows are just spectacular; we adore this spot for engagement portraits.Capturing a little bit of golden light as the sun peeked through those yellow leaves. It was just slightly chilly; all in all, a perfectly crisp fall day.Oh, you know, just Logan literally sweeping his fiancée off her feet! Also, a moment of appreciation for Lydia’s cute strappy heels.Lydia and Logan changed into cozy casual sweaters for the last part of their engagement session. Perfect attire for a stroll through the fallen leaves.We love this secluded spot Lydia and Logan found on the other side of the pond.That deep teal water made for a stunning backdrop.The way these two make each other laugh…LOVE.
