Summer Highlights | Portraits & Commercial | Iowa

Commercial photography filled our summer calendar in 2025, but we were happy to squeeze some portrait sessions in there, too! It was wonderful to work with some familiar faces for branding sessions, headshots, food photography and more. Keep scrolling to see the highlights!

We met Breccan in May for a portrait session to commemorate his graduation from the University of Iowa. As a nod to his business degree, we took a lot of photos around the Tippie College of Business.

We got to see John (and his parents!) twice during the warmer months this year. He gave us big smiles at his nine-month AND one-year portrait sessions. His parents always nail it with the cutest classic outfits.

For John’s one-year session, we obviously had to include a little cake smashing fun at the end.

It’s always a pleasure to take some food and drink detail shots for the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Coralville. The food always looks (and smells) jaw-droppingly delicious!

This summer, we got to take photos of two events for 4RK9s Dog Training Club, a nosework trial and a NADAC agility trial. These dogs do amazing work (and look cute while doing it).

Branding sessions are one of our favorite types of commercial photography. These are super customizable based on the needs of the business. For Carew Chiropractic, we did individual head shots, group photos and a few photos of their office space. If Dr. Carew looks familiar to you, it might be because we photographed his wedding back in 2023!

In August, we had the opportunity to photograph the Best of ASCO event for the Iowa Oncology Society.

We got together with the Blaze Salon crew in August to update their staff photos. This was such a fun day and we are obsessed with their themed outfits (all things denim!).
