Brianna and David’s wedding day was such a beautiful celebration. It was a VERY hot day (gotta love these unpredictable Midwest Septembers) but that didn’t stop us from having an amazing time taking pictures outside. We even got to include David’s Viper GTS, which was so much fun to photograph. Keep scrolling to see all the highlights!
Brianna and David’s wedding reception took place at Central Schoolhouse Inn in Geneseo, Illinois. This historic building manages to feel cozy and luxurious at the same time. We love that it functions as an events venue and a bed and breakfast! It was a perfect spot for our couple’s intimate gathering with their closest family and friends. We’re a little bit obsessed with Brianna and David’s gorgeous wedding rings.Getting ready separately is always an exciting time leading up to the first look moment. This is also a perfect time for some special moments with loved ones. We love that both bride and groom had their mothers there to help with all the little details. Brianna, you look absolutely gorgeous! These two were positively glowing when they saw each other. When we saw this little nook at the top of the staircase, we couldn’t resist stopping in for a few photos.Pretty little details! We loved Brianna’s autumn bouquet with long ribbons and the floral comb in her hair.Romantic dip in front of the cool sports car? Yes, please! We love the way these two look at each other. So in love. The autumn floral arrangements and touches of gold fit right in with the elegant decor of the inn.In case you’re not familiar, these little gold rings sprinkled throughout the space are hose clamps. They are especially significant to the bride and groom because David proposed with one! You can see THE proposal hose clamp below in a ring box beside the wedding cake. The bottom tier of the cake was decorated to look like a hose clamp, which we absolutely love.Such a beautiful wedding cake! Before the party really got started, we had a chance to take photos of some dear family and friends.Surprise, more sports cars! We had a lot of fun arranging these cars in the circular drive behind the inn.Right before cake and dinner, we got to hear some heartfelt speeches from parents. Fun fact, David’s mom Laura is one of my [Carissa] close friends from the wonderful world of dog agility. We were SO excited when we found out her son was getting married!Although it was borderline too beautiful to eat, it was time to cut the cake!Brianna and David, congratulations! We had such a lovely time capturing all these special moments and we hope you enjoyed the highlights!
