The CTW Team had an amazing time photographing the NADAC Trial at the Quad City Dog Center in Davenport. As I’ve mentioned in a prior post, I (Carissa) and my dog Marius have recently delved into the world of dog agility. After photographing some training sessions in both Davenport and 4RK9 in Cedar Rapids, I was more than happy to capture the events of a NADAC trial.NADAC stands for North American Dog Agility Council. Agility trials are held on a monthly basis at the Quad City Dog Center. We had an amazing time photographing all these gorgeous, talented dogs as they made their way through various agility courses. In addition to photographing the agility runs on a by-request basis, we also offered pet portraits! The owners were allowed to join in. Pet portraits are not as commonplace as other types of portraits, but they really should be. We get to enjoy our animals for such a short time in the grand scheme of things. You’ll never regret that you took the time to capture those sweet faces.Although not pictured here, my golden doodle Marius had some amazing agility runs and earned himself a few ribbons! It was a great trial and a wonderful experience. I’m so grateful I found this welcoming community.
