We took a sunny stroll through the snow at Kent Park with Karen and Kade for this stunning maternity session. The bright afternoon light and late-winter backdrop were so dreamy. What a lovely way to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Baby {H}!These two: perfection. CTW Photography photographed Karen and Kade’s wedding in the summer of 2014, including portraits at this very park. It was so wonderful to see their faces on the other side of our cameras again!After pausing beneath the tall trees, we took a walk down the trail…and then off the trail. Our suggestion to step into this golden brown field if they were comfortable with it was met with nothing but eagerness and excitement. Have we mentioned how much we love these two?!We’re not sure if we’ve ever seen anyone embody that gorgeous glow of pregnancy more than Karen. Her radiant smile, that blush pink dress, the tawny field and the blue sky…there’s so much to love about this series of photos and we simply can’t stop staring! This little bridge was a perfect ending spot for Karen and Kade’s maternity session. It was an interesting day for weather — snow on the ground, relentless sunshine and quite a bit of wind! Karen’s long pink dress fluttering around her was such a stunning sight that in that moment, we didn’t mind the wind one bit. We’re so happy we were able to capture all the warmth and beauty of this little family; we can’t wait to meet Baby {H}!
