The Digital Print Side of Things

Something we hear a lot at the end of our portrait sessions is “so, what’s next?” On our end of things, we will edit and compile the pictures into an online gallery. We love making this process easy for you: you get a link to the gallery where you can download everything and/or order prints. When we send you your gallery information, you will also get a print release.

Print Release vs. Copyright

The print release means that you’re able to download the photos from your gallery for your personal use. Share them and enjoy them! For example, you can post them on social media or print copies through a photo kiosk.

CTW Photography retains the copyright and usage rights of the photos we take. Because of this, you are not permitted to edit our photos, sell them online, or submit them for personal gain or publication. Retaining usage rights means that we may use your photos on our website, in marketing material and/or our portfolio. However, we always strive to respect requests for privacy regarding our use of photos.

Your Privacy

Working with people is an integral part of what we do. Our relationship with our clients and our respect for privacy always takes precedence over a desire to use those photos. So, we offer our wedding and portrait clients an array of privacy options. You may entrust us to use your images in the most respectful and appropriate manner, exercising our best professional judgement, or
you might prefer that we not share any of them online at all. If you don’t want your photos posted online, we’re more than happy to respect that wish.
