Erin & Jon | Wedding | Bettendorf, IA

Erin and Jon’s wedding took place on a gorgeous late October day. The air was crisp (and chilly!) but the changing leaves and the golden afternoon light were spectacular. The love between the bride, the groom and their close-knit friends and families was even more beautiful and such a joy to capture. So much warmth and happiness in this group of folks! Lovely little details: the vibrant orange and burgundy blooms were so lovely. And how perfect is that personalized wooden ring box?!
Erin had a special first look moment with her bridesmaids and her father. Next, she and Jon met outside for their own special first look.
Before seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day, the bride and groom read love letters that they had written to each other.
Matching personalized masks — a must for a 2020 wedding.
Erin and Jon are blessed with five adorable nieces! They all shared the duty of flower girl, including these fun signs. We love, “Jonny, auntie gives the best hugs! Now we’ll have to share.”
The grin on Jon’s face when Erin reached the end of the aisle: absolutely priceless.
The bride and groom performed a sand unity ceremony to signify the joining of their lives.

It’s official, these two are married!
We asked Jon what he admires most about Erin. He said, “she’s very smart, patient and is always thinking about me.”
When we asked Erin what she admires most about Jon, she said, “Jon is the most non-judgemental person I’ve ever met. In the almost 3 years of knowing him, I’ve never heard him say anything bad about anyone. He gets along with everyone. Jon also doesn’t care what others think of him – he isn’t afraid to be himself.”
PARTY TIME!
In lieu of cake, Erin and Jon served their guests cookies and ice cream for dessert.
Some unforgettable speeches led to lots of laughs.

After the special dances, the wedding guests enjoyed an anniversary dance. Erin’s parents were the longest married couple on the dance floor!
After dinner, cups of ice cream were placed out for the guests to enjoy in “his & hers” flavors of chocolate peanut better revel and graham central station. Yum!
Erin and Jon, congratulations! We were so happy to be part of your wedding day and capture all these wonderful moments.
