The {K} Family | True Lifestyle | Coralville, IA

We LOVE true lifestyle sessions. The kids can play, be silly, run wild, do all the kid things…and we just capture all the cute memory-making fun. Needless to say, we were really excited for this true lifestyle session with the {K} family at the Coral Ridge Mall last month.

We kicked things off with a family ride on the carousel. The looks of wonder and excitement on the boys’ faces are priceless!

Splitting into pairs for more carousel fun! Cash went classic with a white horse while Ace found a fierce leopard to ride. Good choices, boys.

After finishing up on the carousel, we walked over to the Children’s Museum. It’s right inside the mall and full of fun (and yes, educational!) activities and themed play areas. These guys couldn’t have been any happier.

Morgan’s face as she watches Ace figure out this puzzle is so sweet. That’s another thing we love about true lifestyle sessions: capturing the expressions of parents watching and interacting with their children.

Unsurprisingly, Ace and Cash whipped up the most delicious pizza ever!

A room full of big, buildable foam blocks? Sign us up! After building an awesome fort, we called in the demolition team, a.k.a. Cash and Ace. Next up? Trains and farms, of course.

This arts and crafts room was a big hit, especially this paint-on-the-window station.

Eventually, we called it a wrap for the afternoon and snuck outside the Children’s Museum for a couple quick family pictures. Well, CTW called it a wrap…I’m pretty sure the {K} fam went back inside for more playtime! We had so much fun capturing the smiles, creativity and excitement of these adorable kiddos in a no-pressure way. True lifestyle sessions are so perfect for young kids (but really, all ages/combinations of people…have you seen our lifestyle engagement sessions?!).
