Mila | Classic Newborn | Coralville, IA

This classic newborn session with the {H} family was almost too stunning for words. Gorgeous Mila and her sweet parents, lovely morning light and a beautifully decorated nursery; there was so much to love! We think it was a pretty fitting followup to Mila’s mom Karen’s gorgeous maternity session at Kent Park.

How cute is this animal-themed nursery?! The pink and gray color scheme is so lovely. One of our favorite details: those watercolor prints of African animals lining the wall above Mila’s crib. Well, those and the giant plush giraffe, of course!

Everyday life moments: before we wrapped Miss Mila in her swaddle, we captured some cuddles with Kade. A just-fed baby, all cozy in dad’s arms…so sweet.

Mila watched her mom with bright, inquisitive eyes; she really seemed to be studying everything she could see. It’s not often we see such an expressive newborn!

So lovely.

Karen and Kade are some of our favorite return clients. Not only did CTW take Karen’s maternity photos in March, we also photographed their wedding and engagement pictures. They’re such a fun, kind and loving couple; needless to say, we were thrilled to hear about the new addition to their family.
