The {B} Family | Family Portrait | Iowa City, IA Photography

We met the {B} family at Harvest Preserve in Iowa City for this sun-drenched portrait session in October. What a sweet little family! We’re so happy to have access to this lovely preserve that showcases both art and nature. It was such a fun place to explore with Miss Winnie and her moms.

These black and red shirts were a nice pop of color against our backdrop of greens and golds…and so appropriately cozy for fall.

There was a bit of a chill in the air — a great reason to grab a fluffy blanket and enjoy some family cuddles. There may have been some silly animal noises involved in bringing out Winnie’s adorable grin.

Winnie was a tad serious at times but completely content and oh so sweet. That little ponytail and those big expressive eyes!

The posed photos are so beautiful, but we really love getting to catch some more candid moments. Winnie loved running up this pathway, especially when she found the prize of a big bell to ring at the end!
