This was such a fun engagement session with Sarah and Zeke! We met in Downtown Iowa City on a lovely spring evening — a perfect location in more ways than one.

How cute are these two?! As former University of Iowa students, Sarah and Zeke are well acquainted with Downtown Iowa City. They had lots of great ideas for spots where we could stop for some pictures.

This bright and colorful brick wall was such a fun backdrop.

Nothing like making each other laugh! Sarah and Zeke met in the Iowa City Ped Mall in 2012, not far from this spot.

About their first date: “Went to a movie and
ended up sneaking into the second half of another movie
so we wouldnt have to go home so soon. Just having fun
staying out and enjoying someone else’s company, both of us
had just come out of longer relationships a little bit before
and weren’t really looking for anything serious. Sarah was
planning on going to backpack in Asia for 3 months in January
2013 so wasn’t looking for a ‘serious’ relationship. Ended up
hanging out all the time anyway and kept in touch while
Sarah was in Asia. She got back end of March and we’ve been
together ever since.”

So many lovely blooming trees! Given their love of the area, it was fitting for these two to put on some University of Iowa gear. Go Hawkeyes!
