Sarah & Robert | Wedding | Solon, IA

This late October wedding with Sarah and Robert was so dreamy. We got to spend the day with them plus their closest family and friends at Palmer House Stable in Solon, Iowa. Some of our favorite details about this wedding: Sarah and Robert’s sweet daughters as the flower girls, their beautiful sand and stones unity ceremony, and the Polaroid guestbook wall! The hay loft of Palmer House Stable was a perfect place for Sarah and the rest of the ladies to get ready for the day.
Olivia and Penelope were THE CUTEST flower girls!
Sarah and Robert opted for a private first look in the corner of the hay loft before their portraits. The way they wiped each other’s tears absolutely melts our hearts!
What a good looking wedding party! The shades of purple alongside navy blue suits looked fantastic, and we love the bright yellow pop of sunflower bouquets!
Late October can be pretty unpredictable in the Midwest, but we lucked out with a gorgeous fall day. It was perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony!
We cannot get enough of Penelope, aka flower girl #2! The pure joy on her face here is everything. Robert’s sister, Amelia, was the officiant, making their ceremony especially meaningful.
We loved the use of natural sand and stones for their unity ceremony; what a beautiful symbol for them to display in their home.
When the groom tells you he has a dream taking wedding portraits in the middle of Main Street, you make it happen [quickly and safely!].
Gosh, these two are just gorgeous together.
The wall of mini Polaroids! This was such a fun idea.
After some heartfelt words from friends and family, it was time to cut the cake!
Before the bride and groom’s first dance, Sarah and Olivia got the dance floor warmed up!
