Paige + Nick | Iowa City, Iowa Wedding Photography

A stunning couple, thoughtfully crafted details, the gorgeous backdrop of fall leaves — Paige and Nick’s Iowa City wedding had so much to love!  Take a look at all the beautiful pieces and emotional moments of their day and you’ll understand why it was such a joy for us to capture it all.

Eager to be helpful with the wedding planning, Paige’s father recently took up wood burning.  This personalized ring box was one of many special pieces he made for the wedding.  We found more of his handiwork featured on the reception tables.  Such a sweet, meaningful touch.

Paige’s long and delicate wedding veil belonged to her mother.  Because of this, we thought it was so fitting for her to help fasten it to complete Paige’s ensemble.  Speaking of Paige’s ensemble, we adored the lace details on her gown and those glittering gold shoes!

We love capturing the emotions of a first look.  Paige and Nick’s first look on their wedding day, surrounded by gorgeous golds of fall, was perfect.  We thought it was so special for Paige to have a separate first look with her father.  They made this moment all the more meaningful by exchanging gifts and letters.

What did we tell you?  Perfect.  This patch of woods provided such a dreamy backdrop for this greatly anticipated moment.

Paige and Nick’s wedding ceremony took place at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.  The church houses a grand restored pipe organ that made for this striking picture with our bride and groom.

Oh, this getaway vehicle!  We were swooning a little bit.  More than just a really cool looking car, this ’76 Bronco was restored to gorgeous working condition by Nick and his father.  Nick confided that he was worried the car might not be ready in time for the wedding; they were still working on it that morning.  Great job, Nick and Greg!

In lieu of a cake, Paige and Nick shared this delectable selection of pies with their guests, which we thought was so appropriate for a fall wedding.
