Leah & David | Wedding | Coralville, IA

What a perfect summer wedding with Leah and David. These two are just gorgeous, clearly head over heels for each other, and honestly couldn’t have been any sweeter. Notably, here are some of our favorite things from the day: the lovely pale blue hydrangeas, the bride’s ethereal dress, and the energy on the dance floor. Of course, we can’t forget the fantastic nods to their [friendly] University of Iowa vs. Iowa State rivalry. Now, keep scrolling to see the highlights!
All the lovely details. Pictured here is Leah’s mother in her wedding dress. Leah had the dress altered to fit her and then wore it for the rehearsal dinner.
As you can imagine, first look reactions are some of our very favorites.
Leah twirling in her wedding gown was pure magic. That full tulle skirt, the touch of sparkle, and her beaming smile — we can’t stop staring.
The rings attached to the bride’s bouquet were her “something old,” belonging to her grandmothers.

Those “we’re married!” smiles are priceless.
Following the ceremony, the bride and groom left the church in a cloud of shimmery bubbles.
After the wedding, Leah and David’s reception took place at Bella Sala, a wonderful venue in Tiffin, IA.
The wedding cake was beautifully adorned with hydrangeas and touches of gold. In addition, they had a groom’s cake; this was decorated with all of David’s favorite sports teams (including the beloved Iowa State Cyclones)!
Next, friends and family shared words of love and support.
Finally, a chance to hold each other and sink into the moment. Without a doubt, Leah and David’s first dance was enchanting.
Leah and David’s families joined together on the dance floor together to signify their unity. Halfway through a sentimental dance, pom-poms were pulled out. We absolutely loved this University of Iowa vs. Iowa State “dance-off”! These families clearly have so much fun together.
At the end of the night, we set up a photo booth with some fun and silly props. Needless to say, these wedding guests had a great time showing off their accessorizing skills!
