Krisalyn & Eduardo | Wedding | Muscatine, IATuesday, May 25, 2021Posted in CTW Weddings, Weddings We joined Krisalyn and Eduardo on a lovely Sunday afternoon for their sweet country wedding. The idyllic setting was not only gorgeous, but very meaningful — they were married on Krisalyn’s family’s property. Some of our favorite things: the stunning handmade decor, the little red tractor (the real one AND the one on the cake!), and the bridesmaids trying their best to pick up the groom. Keep scrolling to see all the highlights! The bride and groom’s first look took place beside Krisalyn’s family’s barn. Eduardo picked a dandelion as he waited for his bride, which absolutely melted our hearts. These moments are unbelievably sweet. We took a few bride and groom portraits around the barn before heading into the woods. The bright spring green grass and the rustic red of the barn make such a striking backdrop. Next, we ventured into the woods on the bluff above the family farm. Can we stop to admire Krisalyn’s bouquet? The lilies smelled absolutely wonderful and we loved the small touches of purple. These two make such a beautiful couple. Tractor time! The bride and her family were ushered to the ceremony on this tractor trailer. Because this was such a big part of the day, we couldn’t resist some fun tractor-centric portraits. The archway, tree stumps and wood-burnt slabs were all handmade by the bride and groom and family. Their wood-burnt slabs quoted scripture in both English and Spanish. In addition, Krisalyn and Eduardo shared their vows in both languages. This is one of our very favorite moments to capture; there is so much joy on Krisalyn and Eduardo’s faces! After the ceremony, we couldn’t resist a few more portraits on the red tractor! This group was so fun! The gentlemen had no problems picking up the bride for a silly picture. The ladies, on the other hand, needed a little help! There was an exquisite spread of treats on the dessert table. How perfect is that red tractor cake topper?! This log wall adorned with blossoms and candles was so striking and unique. After portraits, it was time to join the guests for dinner. Next, it was time to sign the marriage license. Making it official! Finally, the bride and groom cut into this tasty looking cake. Krisalyn and Eduardo, congratulations! Your intimate wedding in the woods was so lovely. It was a pleasure to be included in capturing all these special moments and we hope you enjoyed these highlights!
