We had the honor of meeting precious Holden and his parents for this fresh 48 session. Our classic newborn sessions take place with kiddos between four days and two weeks old, give or take. So, meeting a brand new baby still in the hospital is something really special.Oh my goodness, that little face…SO beautiful. We met Holden shortly before his scheduled heart surgery. It’s hard to express just how grateful we are to the families who welcome us into their lives at times that are simultaneously exciting and scary.Getting to know a tiny brand new person — it’s an intimate and emotional experience unlike any other. This family’s experience, bonding with their son as they prepared for his surgery, had many additional layers of emotions. What a privilege to capture a little glimpse of it all.All the sweet little details…perfect tiny toes and the cutest cap! Holden’s fox blanket is a reminder of the woodland animal themed nursery waiting for him at home.Tender moments with mom and dad…so in love with their son.Sweetly content in mom’s arms. At the end of our time together, remarking about their sweet, beautiful little boy, Holden’s mom said, “We’re so lucky.”What a gorgeous family and an amazing little heart warrior! We’re so grateful we had the opportunity to meet Holden for this fresh 48 newborn session.
