Heather & Tony | Wedding | Iowa City, IASaturday, September 26, 2020Posted in CTW Weddings, Weddings Heather and Tony’s wedding day was stunning from beginning to end. From the romantic wine theme to the bride’s exquisite lace gown, we simply could not get enough! In addition to every detail being gorgeous, this day was just downright fun. Keep scrolling and you’ll see just what we mean (including one of our favorite moments, Tony’s very special pre-garter toss dance!). We love the extra bits of sparkle, like on the straps of Heather’s shoes. Heather and Tony opted to not see each other before the wedding. Instead, Heather had this very special first look moment with her father. LOVE. This moment absolutely melts out hearts. After all the anticipation, Tony finally got to see his bride face-to-face on their wedding day. Worth the wait! Heather and Tony’s wedding ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in downtown Iowa City. Sweet moments. It’s official! These two are MARRIED! This group was so much fun! Also, we think it’s worth stopping for a moment here to admire those amazing plum and mauve bridesmaids dresses. So sweet. We asked Heather what she admires most about Tony. Her answer was so perfect: “I admire his ability to brighten my day no matter what. If I am in a bad mood, he has an uncanny ability to make me laugh. If I am in a good mood, he seems to perpetuate it even more. We have such a fun relationship but can also talk about anything!” Heather shared this story about their best date: “For our third date, we went to Analog in Davenport which is an old school arcade bar. We played all of the video games and I lost miserably, until we got to Pac-Man. I was winning until Tony looked at what I was doing and copied me. When we left there, we drove to West Liberty and he showed me the land he bought and explained his plans to build a house and what his dreams were. It was the perfect balance of fun and romance.” We think “the perfect balance of fun and romance” is the BEST way to describe these two! Tony’s son Carter has some fantastic moves to show off during the grand entrance! Heather showed great restraint by dabbing the tiniest blob of frosting on Tony’s nose. During the reception, Heather and Tony performed a sand pouring unity ceremony with their children. This was such a special moment. Tony’s pre-garter toss dance was hysterical and absolutely perfect! Good times on the dance floor! Heather and Tony, congratulations! We adore you both so much and were delighted to be a part of your wedding day.
