Wow, we had such a fabulous day capturing Emily and Carter’s wedding! These two are SO perfect for each other. 🥰 Some of our favorite things: the couple exchanging gifts and letters before seeing each other, their dog Charlie stopping by for a visit, and some amazing, emotional toasts at the reception. This wedding gown was a stunner!

After her mother and sisters helped her get ready, Emily had a sweet reveal moment with all the ladies.

This was such an emotional moment! Emily read a letter from Carter and then opened her wedding day gift: beautiful earrings.

At the other side of the building, things were just as emotional! After reading his letter from Emily, Carter opened a gorgeous watch.

We love how the letters, gifts, and this moment of holding hands (but not seeing each other!) built up anticipation for their first look.

And they finally get to see each other! So much love packed into this moment.

Bella Sala in Tiffin provided a lovely backdrop for these portraits.

We asked Emily what she admires most about Carter. “He protects and loves fiercely. When it comes to family or those he loves, he’ll take huge measures to protect them. He also is a huge extrovert, which I think I am too, but in a different way. He doesn’t like just laying at home, he wants to do something or see someone. I love that he forces me out of my comfort zone and to do new things and be open minded about experiences.”

We asked Carter what he admires most about Emily. “I admire Emily most for her ability to care so deeply for people. She is constantly trying to show people around her how much she cares whether it be her family, myself, her friends, or her students. She has the most loving and genuine spirit I’ve ever seen in a person.”

These two are just STUNNING.

Emily and Carter’s ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

The bride and groom’s nieces and nephews preceded them down the aisle. It’s a tough job!

Carter’s expression here as he watched Emily walk towards him is everything.

They’re MARRIED! This kiss+dip as they left the church had us swooning.

We had time for a few more portraits outside of the church. Can we just say that Emily’s bouquet of all white blooms and greenery was so lovely?! It complemented her glamorous wedding day look so well.

It’s CHARLIE (aka Chuck)! He was the guest star of their engagement session last fall. We were so happy to see him again!

On the way to the reception, we had a fun bar stop at the Back Berner in Tiffin.

Emily and Carter had the wonderful idea to get a picture with each table at their reception.

We see some familiar faces! Cassie and Kellen, Ellie and Jeff, and the {G} family were all in attendance!

Next up, toasts from the best men (Carter’s brothers), matron of honor (Emily’s sister), and the father of the bride. There was so much laughter and happy tears!

During the father-daughter and mother-son dances, guests were invited to join in on the dance floor.
