Chloe | Newborn Portraits | Solon, IA

This was such a wonderful newborn portraits session with Chloe + family. We’ve been taking portraits of Emily and Troy for years, back to their 2017 wedding. It’s so special to carry on capturing the big milestone moments of their lives, like Miss Chloe’s arrival. Some of our favorite things about this session: Chloe being one of the best dressed newborns we’ve seen (such cute swaddle/headband combos!) and seeing how much Cyrus has grown since we last saw him. Baby toes!

Chloe had a full tummy and a cozy swaddle but decided she wanted to stay awake for some of her pictures.

Oh my goodness, those bright blue eyes! So gorgeous. Also, a moment of appreciation for that sweet floral headband.

Chloe had so many cute facial expressions to show us. We’re a little obsessed with this peach & tan floral sleeper and that big caramel colored bow.

Hi, Cyrus! This cutie seem so grown up, especially now that he’s a big brother. Wasn’t it not that long ago that we were taking his six-month portraits? Time flies!

We love taking those dreamy, serene newborn portraits. But we also love capturing the whole range of baby emotions (like Chloe deciding she’s ready for mom to give her cuddles and giving us some serious side-eye).
