What a gorgeous classic newborn session with the {B} family and Miss Cecilia! In addition to her adoring parents, Cecilia’s session included some very special details…and very special animals, too!We had some wonderful January sunshine filling up the nursery. The warmth of these sun-drenched photos really encapsulates life as a newborn: cozy, snug and well-loved.Cecilia’s crib sheets made for such a cute backdrop to her neutral swaddle and headband.The one-on-one snuggles with both mom and dad are one of our favorite parts of newborn sessions.Go Hawkeyes! This swaddle, that golden yellow bow and the fluffiest landing spot were a perfect match.Cecilia is very well-loved and well-protected by her two fur-siblings. They were more than happy to join in for a portrait of the whole family.Katie had a family heirloom rosary wrapped around her fingers as she held her daughter. Such a poignant and thoughtful detail. Cecilia in her father’s arms with a strand of pearls was a perfect complementary moment. Welcome to the world, Cecilia!
