We had such an amazing morning with Ashlyn for her senior portraits session! She was hoping to have some cool architectural details in her senior pictures, as well as a few shots at a record shop. Iowa City totally delivered! Keep scrolling to see the highlights!
To start off, we met at Record Collector, a great shop that’s been around for many years. This location was such a fun nod to Ashlyn’s love of music and vinyl albums! We love the maximalist vibes of all the colorful stickers, posters and records.
Ashlyn’s patchwork denim dress was perfect for this spot!
Before we left, we had to get a shot of her with one of her favorite albums. The Taylor Swift cardigan was such a nice touch.
Next, we headed over to Art Building West on the University of Iowa campus. This is such a wonderful spot — lots of interesting staircases and hallways inside, and a beautiful outdoor space. We thought Ashlyn’s all-black outfit looked so sharp with all the red tones.
It always amazes us when a senior can go from “smiley” to “serious” like flipping a switch. Best of both worlds!
Okay, this cream-colored dress was a STUNNING choice for these outdoor portraits by the pond. So gorgeous.
We love how customizable our senior portraits sessions are. Some seniors really only need a quick 20-minute mini session. For multiple locations and outfit changes, a two-hour long shoot is perfect!
How cute is this floral top? Yet another outstanding outfit choice! The leather jacket on top is a great addition.
Thanks, Ashlyn, for a fantastic senior portraits session! We loved capturing these photos and hope you have an amazing senior year!
