Rachel & Eric | Wedding | Cedar Ridge Winery, Swisher, IA

Rachel and Eric’s Cedar Ridge Winery wedding was nothing short of amazing. At that heart of this intimate gathering of friends and family was a shared love of music. At CTW, we have an intense appreciation for live music (both at weddings and just in life)! So, you can imagine how excited we were to learn that this wedding would feature live music performed by the bride and groom and their loved ones. So special! The music was really just one of many wonderful details that made this such a beautifully memorable day. Keep scrolling and you’ll see what we mean.
Rachel’s lace dress was stunning!
Getting ready — and a closer look at the lovely intricate lace of the bride’s gown.
This first look was incredibly sweet. The feathery snowflakes falling around them added a touch of magic.
It was actively snowing (and not just a dusting, but really snowing!) during the bride and groom’s allotted time for portraits. They were absolute troopers and more than wiling to step out into the cold with us.

We LOVE how fun and whimsical those bright pops of color are against the snowy backdrop.
So gorgeous.
Rachel and Eric’s decor had us swooning. We love their personalized wine glasses: “Love is all you need.”
With the last of the day’s sunlight streaming in and surrounding them, the ceremony was intimate and so lovely.
Eric’s teenaged son Leo joined for this very special unity candle ceremony.
This Dungeons and Dragons inspired wedding cake topper was phenomenal! We love the added detail of the 20-sided dice. Don’t even get us started on those scrumptious looking cupcakes.
The wedding party shared words of encouragement, love and a little laughter, of course.
Leo took part in providing the music for Rachel and Eric’s first dance.
The night of music continues! It was wonderful to see more and more loved ones taking their turn to perform for and/or with the bride and groom.
There was a brief pause in the musical performances for this hysterical Newlywed Game, aka the Shoe Game.
Back to the music! Fun fact: it was also the groom’s birthday!
