Erica & Turner | Engagement Session | Kent Park, IATuesday, March 3, 2020Posted in CTW Weddings, Engagement This engagement session was a stunner! Erica and Turner joined us at Kent Park in the beginning of January. We lucked out with some nice mild weather, just days before a big snowstorm hit. If you’ve ever been to Kent Park, you know that it’s expansive, to say the least! We took full advantage of the scenic variety, from a dreamy walk in the woods to striking sunset portraits. Scroll on down to see the highlights! There’s a common misconception that outdoor winter portraits might be “drab” due to the lack of greenness. These portraits clearly prove otherwise. We LOVE winter prairie grass, especially with the jewel tones Erica and Turner are wearing. Change of scenery: we ventured on a walk into the evergreens. Sneaky hug attack! We love adding a little fun and silliness to an engagement session. Those smiles make us so happy! See what we mean about dreamy? So, we heard that Turner really loves his car (we can see why!). We were more than happy to include it in these portraits. Cool red car + leather jackets + Erica rocking those blue heels = STUNNING! We finished up the evening with these cozy bridge pictures. All in all, this was a perfect engagement session (not to mention a great little tour of Kent Park). We can’t wait for Erica and Turner’s fall wedding!
