What a gorgeous summer wedding with Kim and Matt! From all the perfect details to their amazing friends and family to the way these two look at each other, everything was bright and lovely.

We loved the bride’s intricate lace wedding gown! There were meaningful details included, like this heirloom wedding dress lace tying her bouquet and her grandmother’s handkerchief.

Kim shared an emotional first look moment with her father.

We love capturing these getting ready moments as the anticipation of the day builds.

Matt’s expression here is priceless; this is why we absolutely love capturing the couple’s first look.

So, this was a hot day — the hottest weekend of the year this far, in fact! Kim and Matt were wonderfully tolerant of the heat, letting us get these stunning outdoor portraits.

Those smiles are too perfect! Some details we really loved were the braid in Kim’s hair and those popping shades of red and orange in her bouquet.

Kim and Matt had a lovely ceremony at the Newman Catholic Student Center, a place that is especially meaningful to them as past members of the Newman Singers choir.

There is so much love written all over their faces here, Kim walking down the aisle to join Matt.

The reception took place at the Iowa Memorial Union. The couple displayed wedding dresses of their grandmothers, along with a table full of family wedding portraits. This was so unique and lovely.

We loved the bride and groom’s grand entrance via the balcony.

And now, time to cut into that delicious cake!

Friends and family toasted the couple with words of love and support.

We absolutely adore live music at weddings. The Diamond Empire Band did such a great job getting the party started on the dance floor!
