Avery | Classic Newborn | Iowa City, IA

We had an absolutely perfect classic newborn session with Miss Avery and her parents. It was such a pleasure to be invited into the {A} family’s home to capture these intimate moments.

Born in mid-December, baby Avery had this gorgeous golden Christmas tree awaiting her when she arrived home. We couldn’t resist putting her, all wrapped up in red, in front of it.

Ashlynn and Brent are repeat CTW clients. We had the joy of taking their wedding photos in 2015. They are such a sweet couple (seriously — they had fresh cinnamon rolls waiting for us when we arrived!), so we couldn’t have been happier to see them again. Watching families grow and being there to document these milestone moments is such a special part of what we do.

Brent and Ashlynn included their fur baby in a few of their family portraits. We love it when clients are able to incorporate their pets into sessions!

Our classic newborn sessions have plenty of time built into them, so it was a cinch to change Avery from her festive red to this lovely floral swaddle.

These three got cozy in bed for some family cuddles before heading to Avery’s nursery.

That sweet sleeping face! Avery snoozed so peacefully and so prettily for the duration of the session.

We wrapped things up with a few more snuggly moments on the couch. Perfection. Thank you so much, {A} family, for inviting us into your home.
